We utilize industry-standard WebAuthn (Passkeys) and the Firebase Admin SDK to ensure your vault is locked behind your own biometric identity. Every file is encrypted using AES-256-GCM before it ever touches a network cable.

Sift is built on the Privacy Core—a local-first engine powered by your device's IndexedDB. Your browser holds the master copy of your database.

This means your files are always accessible offline, and server-side snooping is architecturally impossible. Your data stays where it belongs: on your hardware, under your control.

We leverage Google Gemini 3.1 Pro to help organize your digital life. However, this interaction is strictly ephemeral.

The model is only used for a split-second during upload to generate organizational tags and metadata. Sift does NOT use your personal vault to train foundation models. Your digital footprints are not fodder for an algorithm.
